SAP is committed to closing the cybersecurity skills and talent gap in the European Union by organizing a training through a two-part course intended to introduce learners to cybersecurity fundamentals. We pledge to offer this trainings to 10,000 EU citizens in cybersecurity fundamentals by December 31, 2027. In our pledge, SAP Chief Trust Office aim to address the gap in knowledge about the cybersecurity field, the different roles available in the field, and the skills necessary to excel in the different areas of the field .

Our pledge

Fostering a culture of continuous learning, transparency, and innovation are key to SAP Chief Trust Office culture which is why we are pledging to help bridge the cybersecurity skills gap. 
As a leader in the software space, SAP understands the importance of cybersecurity and developing the future cybersecurity workforce. Our investments are reflected in our relationship with HBCUs,  or historically black colleges and universities

Our initiative

Title: The Cybersecurity Field

Description: This course is meant for learners with little to no experience in cybersecurity. This goal of this course is to introduce learners to the cybersecurity field. it introduces the concept of cybersecurity, its importance and purpose, the different teams that may exist in an organization and what skills and schooling may be necessary to enter or transfer into the field.

Target: 10,000 EU citizens

Location: Online, across EU countries

Cost: Free
