NOW Skills Academies: courses on ICT and Telecommunications

NOW Skills academies offer 12-15 week training programs with a focus on practical skills and work experience. Participants undergo a 6-week work placement, gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field. The academy model ensures a balance between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, enhancing participants' employability. Among these programs, these two focus on Digital Skills:

  • ICT Course: A 12-week program focused on developing essential computer skills, including email usage, computer security, and privacy. Participants also undergo a 6-week work placement to apply their newfound skills in a professional setting.
  • Telecommunication Course: A 15-week program covering customer service skills, telephone etiquette, office administration, and more. Similar to the ICT course, participants engage in a 6-week work placement to practice their skills in a real-world environment.
