TechSoup Europe spearheads a dynamic network of 24 capacity-building organizations, catering to a vibrant community of over 500,000 civil society organizations (CSOs) in Europe, wielding a savings for them a staggering 4 billion euros. Our mission is to empower them with groundbreaking technology products, invaluable knowledge, and top-notch services, unlocking the power of technology for societal transformation.

Background

In a world swiftly transformed by technology, TechSoup Europe is dedicated to harnessing this change for the betterment of lives. We passionately believe that the evolving digital landscape holds the key to empowering civil society organizations and social enterprises (SEs). Our commitment lies in unlocking the transformative potential of digital technologies, amplifying their impact, boosting efficiency, and expanding overall capacity. We firmly hold the belief that a socially conscious sector, digitally resilient and adaptive, is better equipped to navigate the intricate challenges of our modern era, fostering inclusivity and sustainable social impact.

Our pledge

We are committed to expediting the journeys of 20,000 social economy actors in Europe toward digital transformation by 2030. With a comprehensive portfolio spanning software, hardware, services, solutions, training, and courses, we will provide a holistic approach to embracing the digital era. Civil society organizations are all welcome to explore our catalog for state-of-the-art software, take advantage of expanded discounted hardware programs, secure funding for and execute digital transformation projects – we're here to support your every step. Our dedication extends to addressing the specific needs of our network partners and creating courses that facilitate the digital evolution of civil society organizations (CSOs) and social enterprises.

In response to the gender gap prevalent in the digital sector, TechSoup Europe takes a proactive stance. We commit to specific actions aimed at attracting more women and girls to the digital field. Rely on us to design and implement initiatives that inspire and support females in pursuing studies and careers in information and communication technology (ICT). Let's work together to bridge the digital gender gap and shape a more inclusive and diverse digital future!

Our initiatives

Our commitment entails specific actions to realize our goals:

  1. Software Provision: Facilitating negotiated donations and discounts, obtaining new licenses, and enhancing software accessibility.
  2. Hardware Support: Expanding discount programs and initiatives for refurbished hardware to reach a wider audience across Europe.
  3. Digital Transformation Projects: Securing funding and executing comprehensive projects to ignite digital resilience within the social sector.
  4. Service Development: Meeting network demands by crafting and delivering requested services.
  5. Training Initiatives: Developing courses that foster digital transformation, ensuring widespread knowledge dissemination.

By the year 2025, our objective is to extend the geographical reach of our digital transformation projects, involving 500 participants who will make significant strides in their digital journeys. Our steadfast commitment aims to narrow digital gaps and empower organizations and social enterprises to navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape with confidence and impact. The initiatives will be  free of charge for representatives of civil society organizations, NGOs, activists, and people working for non-profits.
